Saturday 21st April, a very special day for some ...and we were happy to be part of it. We quickly popped open the champagne & got to work on our lovely wedding party. Five gorgeous bridesmaids & one beautiful bride later we were ready for a coffee break & they were ready for what looked to be a simply wonderful afternoon. 

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Richardson.

Violet White Loves...

Jessie J's dip dye! We're still loving this trend & how versatile it. You don't have to go for a bold contrast of colours, even a subtle blend of tones can be just as stunning.

As well as having a surge in dip dye requests, we had a client order dark brown & red dip dye bonded extensions, they look amazing!

Lana Del Ray you absolute beauty, swanning about with those luscious locks! Described as a "self styled gangsta' Nancy Sinatra" Lana's unique style has caught Violet's eye for sure!

Here's some little beauties of our own at Violet White The Salon,  looking just swell with Lana inspired waves.

Now then this brings us nicely onto our favourite hair trend at the moment...Hair accessories in the shape of floral & jewelled halos.

Be sure to get it right though, or you may be in danger of looking like a lost bridesmaid!

RYAN GOSLING OBV?!!

Gentlemen, looking after your hair is very important! Get a good haircut & you can look as spiffing as oot!

Remember a little product goes a long way, just rub a pea sized amount of clay or matt paste into your hands then apply onto dry hair. Your hair can reflect your personality, so always be yourself...unless you can be Ryan Gosling. Always be Ryan Gosling!

So gents trends at the mo' are a short back & side with a much longer top, favouring a more 1920's feel.

Here's our David giving it a modern twist, he's still on the ball when it comes to hair trends (no pun intended!).

If you want something more severe take a gander at this stern looking chappy. Higher , shorter sides with a longer slicked back top might be more your thing?

April 2012: What's 'gan on in Vi's!

This month Violet White has been a busy old lass! We have a wonderful new Beauty Therapist, Amy! She's truly delightful & will definitely be a busy bee de-fuzzing all the staff (Gail especially! Hee hee!).

Amy is introducing lots of lovely things to the salon including Shellac, a 14 day wear, mirror finish, zero dry time nail polish! She'll tell you herself all about it soon, in more detail! But in the meantime let's give Amy a warm welcome...HOOORAH AMY!

Well what's been happening around these parts lately?! Hair extensions are becoming extremely popular, even half of the staff are fooling the world with our fake long locks, bonded & weaved! We love big long hair!!! Here's our Cheri modelling her weaved extensions in a fishtail plait, which of course you can have too! Just give us a call, we're here for all your hair & beauty needs!

We've also been doing some serious larking about too at Violet White, which we're allowed to of course, because we do a lot of serious hard work too! Joni came in for a visit which is always a treat. For those of you that don't know Joni, he's mischief in it's purest form & he worked with us all a few years back! We all love Joni! Here's Joni & Louise posing like they're in a perfume advert or summet'!! Ps, Louise is sporting the bonded hair extentions! She loves 'em!!

Well we've got a big wedding party in tomorrow & we're setting out all the essentials....curl sticks, hairspray, hair pins, shine spray & most importantly CHAMPAGNE !!!
